
Ingredients
Boneless or bone-in prime rib
Olive oil or softened unsalted butter enough to coat roast
Enough Kinder's Prime Rib Seasoning to coat entire roast liberally
Instructions
Preheat oven to 250°F
Trim off any unwanted bits of fat on prime rib to personal preference
Coat entire roast in olive oil or softened, unsalted butter
Generously season roast with Kinder's Prime Rib Seasoning, including all sides and edges
Place on roasting rack and cook at 250°F for 2 hours
Check internal temp using meat thermometer. Once thickest part of the roast registers at 110-115°F, remove from oven and cover loosely with foil
Increase oven temp to 450°F and place roast back in once preheated
Check internal temp after approximately 5 minutes and repeat until meat registers 125°F
Remove from oven and allow at least 20 minutes to rest. Residual heat will finish cooking and bring roast to a perfect medium rare 130-135°F internal
