Ingredients

  • ½ lb elbow macaroni

  • 3 Tbsp butter

  • 2 Tbsp all purpose flour

  • 1 Tbsp Kinder's The Blend Seasoning

  • 1½ Cups milk (any kind)

  • ¾ Cup heavy cream

  • 2½ Cups shredded cheese (blend of white cheddar, classic cheddar and colby jack)

  • 1 Cup Kinder’s Crispy Fried Onions

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F. Lightly grease 8”x 8" square baking dish with butter.

  2. Cook the macaroni according to box instructions. Drain and set aside.

  3. Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat.

  4. Whisk in the flour and Kinder's The Blend Seasoning and cook for 2 minutes, constantly stirring to ensure the mixture does not stick.

  5. Slowly add the milk and cream, stirring constantly, and cook over low-medium heat until the mixture simmers (low boil). It should resemble a gravy. Cook an additional 7-9 minutes, whisking occasionally to ensure a smooth texture.

  6. Remove from heat and stir in 1 cup of shredded cheese, stirring until melted.

  7. Add the cooked pasta to the sauce, tossing to ensure it's fully coated. Transfer to the prepared baking dish. Top with remaining cheese and bake until cheese is melted and golden brown, about 15-20 minutes.

  8. Once out of the oven, top with Kinder's Crispy Fried Onions.
