Upgrade Your Gravy

If you're making your own turkey at home, use your pan drippings to take your gravy to the next level. After your turkey has finished cooking, remove the turkey, keeping the juices and drippings in the roasting pan. If some areas are dry, add 1 cup of water and place the roasting pan over medium-high heat until the drippings are simmering, then remove from heat. Scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan with a wooden spoon.

Place a fine-mesh strainer over a heatproof bowl or measuring cup and pour the drippings through, discarding the solids. Let the strained liquid sit for 5 minutes so the fat rises to the top. Skim off the excess fat. Measure the remaining liquid and add water until you reach 2 cups. Once this liquid is cool, pour into a sauce pot and whisk in Kinder’s Roasted Turkey Bone Broth Gravy Packet. Turn heat on to medium and whisk until smooth, fully combined, and thickened, creating a rich, flavorful gravy.
