Pulled Rotisserie Chicken

This easy pulled rotisserie chicken recipe is a simple way to bring sweet, smoky barbecue flavor to the table with minimal prep. Shredded rotisserie chicken is warmed and coated in Kinder’s Hickory Brown Sugar BBQ Sauce, creating a rich, tangy mixture that’s ready in minutes. The result is tender, saucy pulled chicken that works well for sandwiches, sliders, tacos, or quick weeknight meals when you want barbecue flavor without the long cook time.
Ingredients
For the Chicken
1 fully cooked rotisserie chicken
1 to 1¼ cups Kinder’s Hickory Brown Sugar BBQ Sauce
1 tsp Kinder’s The Blend Seasoning (optional)
Instructions
Carefully remove the skin from the rotisserie chicken and set it aside. Pull all the meat from the bones, separating breast and dark meat. Shred the chicken into bite-sized pieces using your hands or two forks.
Place a large skillet over low-medium heat. Add the shredded chicken and pour in 1 cup of Kinder’s Brown Sugar BBQ Sauce. Sprinkle in Kinder’s The Blend for added savory depth.
Stir gently to coat the chicken evenly. As it heats, the chicken will release some of its natural juices, which blend with the sauce to create a glossy consistency.
Cook for 5–8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is heated through and well coated.
Turn off the heat and stir gently to distribute evenly.
Serve warm on toasted sandwich buns topped with coleslaw and pickles, or spooned over split baked potatoes for a hearty BBQ-style dinner.
