Ingredients
¾ Cup chicken broth
¾ Cup half and half
2 eggs
2 leeks (sliced, remove green tops)
8 cremini mushrooms (sliced)
1 cup white cheddar (shredded)
4 Tbsp butter
Instructions
Heat oven to 375°F.
Grease a 9"x 9" baking dish with butter or cooking spray.
Melt butter in a skillet on medium heat. Once butter is melted, sauté mushrooms.
Once mushrooms are lightly caramelized, add in the leeks and cook for 5-7 minutes until tender.
In a large mixing bowl, combine chicken broth, half and half, and eggs. Whisk until thoroughly blended. Gently stir in the Kinder's Homestyle Stuffing Mix, cooked vegetables, and cheese. Allow the mixture to rest for 5 minutes before baking, giving the bread cubes time to fully absorb the liquid.
Pour mixture into prepared baking dish.
Bake for 30-35 minutes or until firm in center. Cool 5-10 minutes before serving.
