
Fire up the grill! These grilled shrimp and vegetable skewers are the perfect quick summer night, weeknight, or any night meal. Fresh, vibrant veggies and juicy shrimp get a sweet and savory boost of flavor with Kinder's Sweet Sesame Teriyaki Dipping Sauce. The sauce glaze caramelizes beautifully over the grill, creating a delicious and easy dish that's sure to be a hit.
Ingredients
2 lbs shrimp, veined and shelled, leaving tails on
2 Tbsp. olive oil
2 bell peppers, cut into bite-sized chunks
1 red onion, cut into bite-sized chunks
2 zucchini, cut into bite-sized coins
2 Tbsp. Kinder’s The Blend Seasoning
1 Cup Kinder’s Sweet Sesame Teriyaki Dipping Sauce, divided
8-10 skewers
Instructions
Preheat the grill for a medium-high direct heated cooking area (400°-425°F) and an indirect heated cooking area (no flame).
Oil and season all ingredients with Kinder’s The Blend Seasoning.
Skewer ingredients onto skewers. (Note: If using wooden skewers, be sure to soak in water for 15 minutes before skewering ingredients.)
Grill over the direct heated area, rotating often to ensure an even char is achieved, about 3-4 minutes per side.
Move to the indirect heated area and baste with half of the Kinder’s Sweet Sesame Teriyaki Dipping Sauce. Close the grill and cook until shrimp is cooked through to 140°F and no longer translucent, about 4 more minutes.
Remove from the grill and let rest for 10 minutes.
Drizzle with additional Kinder’s Sweet Sesame Teriyaki Dipping Sauce before serving.
