Ingredients

  • 1.5 lb thick bone-in pork chops

  • 3 Tbsp Kinder’s Bourbon Steak Seasoning

  • 1 Tbsp butter

  • 2 apples (cored and cut into 6ths)

  • 3 Tbsp cane sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.

  2. Season pork chops with 1 tablespoon of Kinder’s Bourbon Steak Seasoning.

  3. In a preheated skillet over medium-high heat, sear both sides of the pork until golden brown.

  4. Remove pork chops and deglaze the pan with a bit of water. Add sugar and allow it to caramelize over medium heat until it reaches a light amber color. Then, add butter and apples, tossing to coat. Stir in the remaining tablespoon of Kinder’s Bourbon Steak Seasoning.

  5. Place the pork back into the skillet and bake for 10-15 minutes or until the pork is firm in the center and fully cooked.

  6. Finishing move: For a full meal, consider pairing these pork chops with roasted sweet potatoes and a green salad.
