Looking for flavorful simple pork ribs prepared on the smoker? Our Hickory Brown Sugar Seasoning takes the flavor to the next level with a little bit of sweet and a little bit of smoke for that classic ribs flavor you're looking for.
Ingredients
1 rack of baby back ribs
1 Cup apple cider
Instructions
Preheat the smoker (or oven) to 225°F.
Peel the membrane from the back of the ribs. (Using a paper towel to grab a portion of the silver skin can help with the quick removal.)
Season the entire rack of ribs generously with Kinder’s Hickory Brown Sugar Seasoning.
Place the ribs on the smoker, rib side down, until they reach an internal temperature of 160°F, about 2 and a 1/2 - 3 hours. To ensure the ribs stay moist, you can use a spray bottle to spritz the ribs every half hour with apple cider.
Remove ribs from the smoker and wrap in a large piece of aluminum foil, crimping the edges and sides to ensure the ribs are entirely enclosed.
Place foil-wrapped ribs back on the smoker and cook until the ribs reach an internal temperature of 190-203°F, about 2 hours.
Remove and let rest for 15 minutes before slicing and serving with your favorite sides.
