Our foolproof way to grill up a juicy, flavorful flank steak? Look no further than Kinder's All Purpose Marinade. This recipe keeps things simple: marinate, grill, and enjoy. The punch of garlic and cracked black pepper ensures your flank steak comes out packed with flavor every time.
Ingredients
2 lbs flank steak or skirt steak
1½ Cups Kinder’s All Purpose Marinade (¾ cup if using as a glaze, see tip)
Optional
2 Tbsp Kinder’s The Blend Seasoning (only if using as a glaze, see tip)
Instructions
Place flank steak in a ziplock bag or large casserole dish and cover with Kinder’s All Purpose Marinade. Place in the refrigerator and marinate overnight (see time saving tip below).
Remove flank steak from the refrigerator and allow it to come to room temperature before cooking.
Preheat the grill for a medium-high direct heated cooking area (400°-425°F) and an indirect heated cooking area (no flame).
Place steak over direct heat and cook until browned, approximately 3-4 minutes. Flip and cook over direct heat for an additional 3-4 minutes.
Once browned on both sides, flip again, move to the indirect heated area, and close the grill. Remove steak once it reaches an internal temperature of 120°-125°F.
Let rest for 15 minutes before slicing and serving with your favorite sides.
Time Saving Tip
If you are short on time, try using the marinade as a cooking glaze. If doing so, season meat with 2 tbsp. Kinder’s The Blend Seasoning and baste with Kinder’s All Purpose Marinade each time you flip the steak in Step 4.
