Ingredients
1½ lbs Ground Beef
1½ Cups Kinder’s Original BBQ Sauce
2 Tbsp Yellow Mustard
2 Tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
½ Cup Water
1.5 Cups Cheddar Cheese, Shredded
½ Cup Red Onion, Thinly Sliced (optional)
1 Package of Hawaiian Rolls (12-count)
Instructions
Add ground beef to skillet and cook on medium-high heat until meat has started to brown.
Add Kinder’s BBQ sauce, mustard, vinegar, and water and stir to combine well. Reduce heat to medium and allow mixture to simmer for 5 to 10 minutes, or until sauce has thickened. Turn off heat and set aside.
Pre-heat oven on broil setting.
Remove rolls from package and slice in half, keeping all of the rolls connected. You should be able to flip over the top part in one piece, with both cut sides of the rolls facing up.
Place rolls on a baking sheet, cut side up, and place under the broiler for 30 to 60 seconds or until the rolls are nicely toasted and brown.
Remove rolls from the oven. Remove the top of rolls from baking sheet and set aside. Spoon sloppy joe mixture onto bottom half of rolls and sprinkle with cheese. Return bottom rolls with sloppy joe mixture to the oven and broil until cheese is nicely melted.
Remove from oven and, if using, top with thinly sliced red onion.
Place top of rolls onto sliders and allow to cool for 5 to 10 minutes before slicing.
Slice into individual sliders and serve.
