Ingredients
1 packet Kinder’s Woodfired Chili Seasoning
1 lb ground beef
1 Cup water or broth
1 15 oz. can kidney beans
1 14.5 oz. can diced tomatoes, undrained
6-8 hot dogs
6-8 hot dogs buns
1-2 Cups cheddar cheese, shredded
¼ Cup green onions, diced
Instructions
In a medium pot, brown ground beef for 7-10 minutes on medium high heat, stirring often to break meat up.
Once ground beef has been browned, add 1 packet of Kinder’s Woodfired Chili Seasoning and stir, making sure the seasoning coats the meat evenly.
Add the water/broth, diced tomatoes and kidney beans. Bring to a boil for 3-5 minutes, then reduce heat to a low and simmer for at least 1 hour.
Preheat outdoor gas or charcoal grill to medium-high heat (400 - 425°F), set up for indirect cooking with 2 heat zones.
Grill hot dogs to your preferred liking. Remove from the grill and set aside.
Toast buns to your liking.
Top hot dogs with chili, cheddar cheese, and diced green onions.
