Pimento Cheese

Need an easy appetizer? This pimento cheese comes together with just a few simple ingredients and gets a flavorful boost from Kinder’s All Purpose Seasoning and Gold BBQ Sauce. It’s also a great make-ahead option to keep in the fridge for snacking, sandwiches, or an easy bite any day of the week. Serve it with crackers, veggies, or chips and let everyone dig in.
Ingredients
1 lb sharp cheddar cheese, freshly grated
¾ Cup mayonnaise
2 Jars diced pimentos, drained well (4oz each, 8oz total)
2 Tbsp Kinder’s Gold BBQ Sauce
1 Tbsp your favorite hot sauce
1 garlic clove, finely grated
Instructions
Add cheddar and pimentos to a large bowl and gently toss until evenly combined.
In a separate bowl, stir together mayonnaise, Gold BBQ Sauce, hot sauce, garlic, and All Purpose Seasoning until smooth.
Add the seasoned mayonnaise mixture to the cheddar and pimentos. Fold everything together until the cheese is evenly coated and the pimentos are distributed throughout.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors come together.
When you're ready to serve, give the pimento cheese a quick stir then serve with crackers, toasted bread, fresh vegetables, or spread it onto sandwiches and burgers.
TIP: Be careful not to overmix so the cheese maintains plenty of texture. This works great as a make ahead appetizer. Sealed well, your pimento cheese will keep in the fridge for 1 to 2 weeks.
