Honey Hot BBQ Meatballs

These craveable, easy meatballs are about to become your game day or any day tradition. We love them with our Honey Hot BBQ sauce and they’re just as tasty with our Honey BBQ or Mild BBQ Sauces if you need to pull back on the kick for your crowd. This hearty appetizer will keep everyone at the party coming back for more.

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350°F.

  2. Combine Woodfired Garlic Crispy Panko Blend and milk in a bowl and stir well. You may substitute plain panko if needed. If using plain panko, add salt and pepper to taste.

  3. Allow mixture to rest for at least 5 minutes.

  4. Add ground beef and eggs to the panko mixture and stir until mixture is well combined.

  5. Shape mixture into small meatballs (about 1 to 1.5-inch wide) and place on a baking sheet.

  6. Bake meatballs for 15 to 20 minutes or until cooked through.

  7. While meatballs are cooking, combine BBQ sauce, honey, chili flakes, and water in a saucepan and cook on low-medium heat until the sauce begins to simmer.

  8. Once meatballs are cooked, add them to the sauce and stir until evenly coated.

  9. Meatballs may be held in a crockpot or slow-cooker for serving.
